Yesterday was my birthday! It was a very good birthday, one that made me realize how much I have changed since my 20s: I wanted nothing more yesterday than a quiet evening at home. And, if you don't count the boisterous "Jenga!" yells, I got just that. Bill cooked dinner for me, Cait, and Liz, and then we sat down for some Jenga and Who, What, Where--the best game ever.
I'd like to thank everyone for their generous gifts, too! I don't want to list them all here for fear of forgetting something, and as cheesy as it sounds, the best gift was being able to hang out with my closest friends and family.
The picture here is of the beautiful bag my mother-in-law made me. She remembered our trip to the Seeley Lake (MT) quilt store, and all the fabrics/patterns I loved. Such a thoughtful gift!
