Thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving in Waldport with my parents, my sister, and her fiancee. The highlight of the weekend--aside from the amazing dinner--was an 8-mile beach walk from Waldport to Yachats. It beat us up and made us run for the nearest pub, but it was a refreshing way to work off Thursday's calories.
I'm so thankful for my wonderful family, and for my sister's fiancee, Liz, who makes Caitlin so happy.
I am also thankful for Kai, my parents' dog (formerly my dog), who probably won't make it to another Thanksgiving. He was with me through some hard times in my life.
This year, I am especially thankful for my sweet and patient husband. Our first Thanksgiving as husband and wife was not perfect, but we're closer for it.
