Back in the Pool

I swam with my former team for the first time in more than a year yesterday. I'd been missing them since I had lunch last week with my friend and former teammate Shauna (who's 9 months pregnant and still swimming 5 times a week).

While the practice definitely kicked my butt at twice the distance as what I am used to swimming, it was a lot of fun. The Mount Hood Community College Pool is beautiful--Olympic-sized, outdoors, and crystal clear. The only problem: it's in Gresham, 20 miles away. Regardless, I hope to get out there more after the honeymoon!
