Sadly, this wasn't one of my teammates ...
We had a great weekend in Bend for Pole Pedal Paddle. The heat was intense (topping 100 at some points), but we all managed to avoid heatstroke.
Bill and I joined two separate teams made up of his friends. I was the cyclist on my team, and Bill the runner on his. I think it would be childish to mention my team beat his by 13 minutes, so I won't ... ; )
