Flying high ...

I broadened my horizons, if you will, on Sunday at the Oregon International Air Show. Even though I am occasionally freaked out by flying, particularly in planes where I need to duck when I walk to the bathroom, the airplanes at this show were amazing. There was everything from aerobatic planes doing flips and stalls, to a stealth fighter jet, to the Navy's Blue Angels. The weather did not cooperate, however, and we dealt with light rain for the last hour or so. I also battled nausea as I stood next to the dirtiest, smelliest, most back-woods family I have ever seen. I'm pretty sure inbreeding played a part. But I digress ... All in all it was a very good time, and I think Bill enjoyed his "date" at the air show. It's only a matter of time before he's sharing their air space as a pilot!
